THE WHITE CORNER
2014. Sofia. Bulgaria. Vitosha Blvd.

The project aims to focus the viewers attention onto issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault and rape. The project name originates from the boxing term "White Corner" (also known as "Neutral Corner"), where one fighter is sent while the referee gives a standing count. THE WHITE CORNER uses the open space of the city to invite passers-by to interact with the work by picking it apart and familiarising themselves with the stickers presenting important statistics.

In 2014 THE WHITE CORNER was part of the International initiative Walk a Mile in Her Shoes in Sofia, where men walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes in support of women, victims of domestic violence.
